SPSS License Server ((SPSSLICPRD05) will be decommissioned at the EOB on Friday November 17, 2017. If your installations of SPSS are configured to obtain a license from spss.license.gsu.edu, there will be no service impact. The name change-over was implemented almost a year ago so most of the campus should not have any issues.

If you are unsure if your version of SPSS is directed to the correct license server, you will need to do the following steps:
1. Open Windows explorer and navigate to the SPSS installation folder, Ex. C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\2x (23,24,25,etc.)
2. Open SPSSPROD.inf
3. Make sure this line is present:
DaemonHost=spss.license.gsu.edu
4. If it is a single workstation, you may make this change now and save it. If there are multiple systems and your department is on SCCM, you may deploy the following package.

If you need to redirect the SPSS license server for your installation and your workstations are on SCCM, you can deploy the following package:
\Software Library\Overview\Application Management\Packages\IBM
• Redirect license to spss.license.gsu.edu

If you are running any versions less than 23, Please upgrade. IIT is no longer supporting any versions less than SPSS 23.
