Resolved - After monitoring the system over the weekend, the WordPress edit/add new function has returned to normal operation. Please contact WordPress support https://gsu.uservoice.com if you encounter any additional problems with errors.

Monitoring - The WordPress edit/add new function has been returned to normal operation. Occasional timeouts on post/page or media updates have been attributed to required plugin and core system upgrades already under review by the web team for deployment in the next 2 weeks. One additional database item will be addressed later this evening, but should not interrupt operation. Please remember to check http://status.gsu.edu for system updates should you encounter frequent errors

Investigating - The hosting company for WordPress is currently investigating network issues between the system and its hosted database related to the administration of the websites hosted at gsu.edu. Users are experiencing above average timeout errors when adding new pages/posts or media as the time between the system and database seems to be greatly extended. Other functions within the WordPress dashboard appear to be running normally. There hasn't been any disruption in service to site visitors. At this point there isn't an estimated time of completion for the investigation and work. Notification of progress on the issue will be posted at http://status.gsu.edu.

Scheduled - Maintenance will be done of the TouchNet system from Friday, September 5th from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. TouchNet will be completely inaccessible during this time frame. This will affect uStore and uPay sites linked to Marketplace as well as ALL credit card, debit & ACH payment links whose payments go through TouchNet Payment Gateway. An example of what will be affected is the ability for students to pay tuition and fees with credit cards through an Internet interface.
