Scheduled - Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) will perform scheduled network maintenance between the hours of 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. starting on Saturday evening March 28-29. This maintenance will provide critical support for maintaining network and information security.

Scheduled Maintenance for March 28-29, 2015 will be for the GSU Campus Core Routers and GSU Data Center Host switches. During this network maintenance, we will be updating GSU Campus Core Routers and GSU Data Center Host switches firmware. This will require several reboots and during this time there will be network connectivity loss that could last 5-10 minutes affecting GSU Network connectivity, GSU student/staff Applications access, Internet access, VOIP phones & wireless connectivity.

Scheduled - Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) will perform scheduled network maintenance between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting on Tuesday evening March 24-25. This maintenance will provide critical support for maintaining network and information security.

Scheduled Maintenance for March 24-25, 2015 will be for campus building switches listed below. During this network maintenance, we will be updating network switch firmware to building access and distribution switches. This will require a reboot and during this time there will be network connectivity loss that could last 5-10 minutes affecting GSU Network connectivity, Internet access, VOIP phones & wireless connectivity.

Update - IS&T is continuing to investigate reports of issues with Outlook Desktop Client Authentication, access via the Faculty and Staff Email webpage, and Microsoft Cloud Services (including Lync, OneDrive, and SharePoint). IS&T system engineers are currently working closely with Microsoft engineers to address the situation. Additional information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Investigating - IS&T is investigating reports of a new issue with Outlook Desktop Client Authentication for some users. Users can log in to their email account on the web and this is not affecting email service. IS&T System Engineers are currently investigating the issue. Monitoring - IS&T has restored functionality to the Faculty and Staff Email login page as well as Microsoft Cloud Services. We will continue to monitor these systems for stability throughout the day. Identified - IS&T has confirmed an issue with the Faculty and Staff Email login page and Microsoft Cloud Services including services such as OneDrive and SharePoint. This does not appear to be affecting the Outlook Desktop Client or Email service itself. IS&T System Engineers are currently working on the issue.
