IS&T will be performing maintenance on our Gluu Shibboleth SSO on Sunday-April 26th from 4:00am-6:00am. During this maintenance period SSO logon services may be intermittently unavailable.

Identified - IS&T has identified the issue with scanning/email function from copiers is due to a large amount of data being sent out. Unfortunately, the job will have to complete before any new jobs will be able to be processed. IS&T will continue to monitor the server queue and will post updates to this issue at status.gsu.edu.

Investigating - IS&T is currently investigating reports of an issue with users not being able to perform scanning/emailing functions from copier machines. Additional information will be posted here when the issue is confirmed.

Resolved - IS&T has resolved the issue with some web forms on the technology.gsu.edu website that were not working properly. All tickets have been received from the time frame of the issue and are being worked on as needed. If you have submitted a web form request this week and have not received an update related to the request, please contact the IS&T Help Center at 404-413-HELP (404-413-4357) to check on the item and create a ticket if needed.

Investigating - IS&T has received reports that some web forms on the technology.gsu.edu website are not working properly. This issue is preventing tickets from being created for the requests that are entered into these web forms. IS&T is investigating to determine which forms are not working and to return them to working status. The issue related to these forms appears to have affected items entered beginning on Monday April 20th. If you have submitted a web form request and have not received an update related to the request, please contact the IS&T Help Center at 404-413-HELP (404-413-4357) to check on the item and create a ticket if needed.

Investigating - The hosting provider for gsu.edu and its sub-sites is currently experiencing a network disruption effecting WordPress site administration. The incident is being closely monitored and an update will be sent as soon as the problem has been identified and a resolve is under way.

Scheduled - WordPress Maintenance is scheduled to take place from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday-April 18, 2015. WordPress will be upgraded to a new version. While minimal disruption is expected during this scheduled maintenance, there may be brief periods of time that some Georgia State University websites will be unavailable.

Resolved - IS&T has confirmed that all systems impacted by Tuesday's power outage, including the GSU Library's automation system, are stable and functioning normally.

Update - The GSU Library’s automation system has been restored. While the services to the GSU Library's automation system appear to be functioning normally, IS&T engineers will continue to monitor the system overnight.

Update - After closely monitoring the situation, IS&T has confirmed that all GSU systems impacted by
Tuesday's power outage are stable and functioning normally, with the exception of the GSU Library's automation system. IS&T engineers are currently working with the vendor to restore that system to service as quickly as possible.

Monitoring - Power has been fully restored to the GSU network, telephone, and server infrastructure. While these systems appear to be functioning normally, IS&T will continue to monitor them for stability overnight.

Identified - IS&T engineering staff are in the process of restoring network, telephone, and server infrastructure functionality in the wake of a power event that impacted a portion of the Atlanta city power grid. The IS&T Help Center has telephone and network connectivity restored and is able to take calls normally @ 404-413-4357. 


Additional updates will be posted to status.gsu.edu as they become available.

Investigating - Due to a power outage that affected over ten buildings on campus, the University is experiencing various issues. These issues can include network, telephones, and some applications. IS&T Help Center is also affected at this time and we are working in bringing up a remote site to receive calls. We will post any updates at status.gsu.edu as they become available.
