Scheduled - The University System of Georgia will perform a systemwide upgrade to the Desire2Learn learning management system from Friday, December 19th at 12:01 AM to Friday, December 26th at 5:00 PM. Desire2Learn will be completely inaccessible during this time frame. For more information, please visit: http://cii.gsu.edu/brightspace
Identified - Microsoft is currently running some updates on SharePoint. Users may experience delays in services, emails or processes not running as it should.This varies for each user based on the action or task.

Services are projected to return to normal by end of tomorrow's business day-Friday-December 19th. Not definite, to be determined by Microsoft.

Monitoring - Engineers believe that they have Isolated the issue with PantherMail and have brought the system operational. IS&T will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that this is the case.

Resolved - The Board of Regents confirms they have resolved the database connection issue that caused system interruptions to Desire2Learn from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. and from approximately 5:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9. Please contact the IS&T Help Center at 404-413-4357(HELP) or email at help@gsu.edu to report any additional problems.

Monitoring - On Tuesday, December 9, the Desire2Learn learning management system was unavailable at the following times:
Approximately 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Approximately 5:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Board of Regents confirms that this interruption occurred systemwide. We are currently closely monitoring the system and coordinating with the Board of Regents to investigate the cause of the issue. We apologize for any interruptions faculty experienced in conducting their courses as a result of this system issue and invite faculty to contact the Center for Instructional Innovation at cii@gsu.edu or 404-413-4700 to explore solutions related to any issues experienced in your course.

Scheduled - The university PantherCash system, which allows purchases to be made using PantherCards, will be unavailable on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., while maintenance occurs to update the system.

During the maintenance window, PantherCash account holders will be unable to make purchases using PantherCards at the locations listed below. PantherCash account holders should make arrangements to use alternate forms of payment for affected services during the maintenance window.

Affected locations include:
On-campus university dining and off-campus partner food-service
Vending machines
Copy machines
University parking

Please note that this maintenance should not interfere with students' ability to print using Pharos enabled printers on campus.
